This modest, sustainable home was developed on a tight budget on a compact and land-locked site at Manly on Sydney's northern beaches. The design was developed using Ecotect environmental design software to model thermal performance and solar access requirements. Awarded best environmental and energy efficient building by the BDA in 2005, it continues to receive attention due to its benchmark sustainable design.
