Located on a long and steep site at Seaforth in Sydney's north, this residence is designed to maximise sweeping views of Middle Harbour and mitigate the harsh effects of the western sun. Cascading over three levels, a butterfly roof gives a lightweight dimension to this large home and a reversed-block insulated veneer provides an energy-efficient solution to the building fabric. The home also adheres to the principles of Feng Shui. This project received a BDANSW award in 2007.
