Embodying a playful exploration of materiality, this rural retreat harnesses the warmth and character of recycled hardwood and rusted steel. Informed by the presence of a perfectly circular lake in the immediate vicinity of the site, the building reacts with crisp geometries and a modern aesthetic, existing as a unique sculpture in the developing countryside.
